The Spice Valley believes the concept of integrated development of the individual with their achievements. The benchmarks, we made in the field of sports and games during the year 2016-17 as such a rich crop of trophies and shields are being harvested by our players and athletes.
Spice Valley is known not only for its brawn prowess but also for the brainpower. Selvi K. U. AmirthaVarshini of class VIII is the latest in Spice Valley’s Chess staple. She is a statelevel achiever in III place.Selvi K. U. Atchayadharshini andSelvi V. PunithaPriyadharshini arethe state level IV position achievers.Selvan M. Nanda Kumar is a District first player.
A student means versatile personality that mean should be fit physically and mentally in all around. As such our studentsAnish.Tand Jai Surya.S are achieved the state level Second prize in Karate. The formidable pair, it is hoped, will extend their winning list then more that spree and bring many more laurels to the Spice Valley.
Yoga is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format.
As belief on our students, they made it on the events and won the overall championship in district level on November 26, 2016, held at Sri AmbikaiVenkitasamy Naidu Mahal, Theni.Anish, Tamilmulakkan,Abinav, Aswanth, Sakthi UmaPunithapriyadharshini, Pooja Sri, Balaji, Thanika Shree, Avinash, Ayngaran, MugeshKannaa, Sanjeev, Jaisurya, Varshini Shree, Siva Shree, Pushkarani, LukashAdithya, Venuramana, Sandhiya, Shivadharshini, Thanika, Akash, Harish Nithin, and Shrimukhi had won the prizes in individual categories and common categories as well.
The mass event had been conducted in Trichy for State level. Our pride Anish, Tamilmulakkan, Abinav, Aswanth, Sakthi Uma, Punithapriyadharshini, Nithish, Tharuneshvasan, Hariharasudhan, Rithik Krishnan, Sharanparamesh, Avinash, Pushkarani, Shivadharshini, Sri harish, HariharaSudhan, Prithividharsan and Jai Vishak had won the prizes in individual categories and common categories as well.
Our school National Level Yoga Achievers is T. Anish and M. Tamil muzhakan of class VIII, Ashwanth, Sakthiuma and Abinav of class II are the young heroes of the Spice Valley.
The student and skater of The Spice Valley Public School R.P Venuraman of class VI has been selected as a Champion in the South Zone Skating Championship held at Viruthunagar bagged gold medal in 1,500 road race in under-14 years old category. He won prizes in state and District level in different tournaments were conducted in different places in Tamilnadu. As a token of honoring a sports person, an article about Venurama was published in Thinamalar News paper.
Sillambam is the pride of Tamilian martial art. The Spice Valley Children had proven that their affectability to learn our traditional art of our state in Periyakulam as a District Level
Sillambam competition. Naveen Ram from UKG, Kabilan and Santhosh from III, had won the second prize in Mini Sub Junior level. The Spice Valley has whole heatedly appreciated them in the football tournament.
Spice Valley believes in maintaining a balance between Co-scholastic and Scholastic domains. The school constantly encourages the children to move beyond the set of curriculum. The young learners of the school Punitha Priyadharshini of class VIII and Varunika of class III achieved in state level competition of International Maths Olympiad, was conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation.
